SRSYO Europe Tour 2018 is Airborne

The Santa Rosa Symphony Youth Orchestra's young musicians had a fast run to San Francisco airport with little traffic and, once in the airport buildings, passed comparatively smoothly through security. Waiting in line ahead of us was a tour group also heading for Salzburg and Vienna.

After once assembling at the gate, musicians were allowed to disperse in groups before departure to do last minute shopping, to get food, or just to browse the shops.

We are now in the air, Lufthansa flight LH 459 to Munich.
