Orange or Blue—We See You

Musicians of the Santa Rosa Symphony Youth Orchestra (SRSYO) have been issued an orange and a blue T-shirt for use while on tour this summer in Europe. Musicians will wear the orange version (originally created for the Human Race fundraiser for the tour) on the trip from San Francisco to Munich, their arrival city in Europe. They'll wear the blue version on the way home—and otherwise, as directed in crowd situations during travel.

At the airport, you've probably seen large groups of young people all wearing T-shirts the same color. There's a good reason tour operators encourage the practice; it makes everyone visible in a crowd and visible at long distance. Keeping some of Northern California's most talented young musicians safe while abroad will be a priority.

Only two days until the Bon Voyage Concert at the Green Music Center, only five days to departure. Musicians: don't forget your T-shirts!
